Neighborhood Guide
Real therapeutic bodywork shouldn't cost $200 and a membership contract. Here's the honest math on getting a good massage in San Francisco without the spa markup.
Half the Price of a Chain Spa
San Francisco's average massage price hovers around $120–$160 for a 60-minute session at most spas. We're at $83 for the same hour — and that's our regular price, not a promotional deal. If you catch our morning special (before 11:30 AM), it's $78. Buy a 10-pack and it drops to $69 per session. That's roughly half what you'd pay at a chain franchise.
How do we keep prices lower? We don't have a lobby with a waterfall. We don't spend thousands on marketing gimmicks. We don't have a membership sales team. We're a small practice on Balboa St that keeps overhead low and passes the savings on. The therapists are the same caliber — licensed and experienced — just working in a place that doesn't charge you for ambiance you didn't ask for.
Your body doesn't know how much you paid — it just knows it feels better when you leave.
Lower Price, Same Quality Work
One thing we don't discount is the quality of the work. Every session uses the same Shiatsu and cupping techniques whether you're paying full price or using a package. Your body doesn't know how much you paid — it just knows it feels better when you leave.
The Sharing Package Math
The Sharing Package is one of the more underused options we offer. You buy 10 sessions at $69 each, and anyone can use them — your partner, your parents, your roommates. If you have two people using it regularly, it essentially halves the cost per household to around $35 per person per session. For regular massage goers, that math is hard to ignore. The sessions don't expire quickly, and there's no pressure to use them within a certain timeframe.
Tuesday Lady's Day and Other Ways to Save
Tuesday Lady's Day is worth knowing about if your schedule is flexible: every Tuesday, women get 60 minutes for $78 — same price as the morning special, available all day. Combined with the group discount (bring a friend on a Tuesday), you're looking at $63 per person for a full hour. That's the lowest per-session rate we offer outside of the 10-pack, and there's no upfront bulk purchase required.
