Planning Your Visit
On your first visit, plan to arrive a few minutes early. We'll talk briefly about how you're feeling, any areas of tension, and what you're hoping to ease that day, then tailor the session to suit you. New to bodywork? Our menu of treatments walks through each option, while the Japanese shiatsu and cupping therapy pages explain what a session involves and who it tends to suit.
The studio sits on Balboa Street between 38th and 39th Avenue. Free street parking is usually easy to find along Balboa and the side streets near 38th–39th Ave; on busy evenings you may circle the block once. Arriving by transit, the 38 Geary stops one block north, and the 31 Balboa runs right past our door. We welcome neighbors from across the Outer and Inner Richmond, the Sunset, and Parkside, as well as visitors from anywhere in the city.
You're in capable hands here — our licensed therapists bring years of experience in Japanese-style shiatsu and cupping, and we keep each session calm, unhurried, and centered on how your body responds.
